Representation of Interfaith Communication Ethics in Digital Media: Content Analysis of the Dialogue between Habib Husein Ja'far and Bhante Buddha in the Login Podcast

This study aims to analyze the representation of interfaith communication ethics in the digital space through the interaction between Habib Husein Ja’far and Bhante Buddha Dhirapuñño in the Login podcast. The research focuses on examining how religious figures apply the values of respect, tolerance, and inclusive dialogue in conversations before a digital audience. This research employs a qualitative approach using content analysis as the primary method. Data were collected by documenting two relevant podcast episodes, which were selected because they feature direct interaction between the two religious leaders. The findings indicate that the communication presented reflects a constructive form of interfaith ethics, characterized by mutual respect, openness, non-offensive humor, and efforts to identify shared humanitarian values. These findings demonstrate that digital media can serve as a positive platform for interreligious dialogue when guided by ethical awareness.
