Utilization of UG TV in Providing Educational Content to Gunadarma Students and the General Public

Abstract


This research aims to find out how UGTV is used in providing educational content to the public and Gunadarma University students. In this research, researchers used qualitative methods with a constructivism paradigm. The theory used in this research is Media Ecology Theory. Data collection techniques in this research are through observation, in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature study. The results of this research are in accordance with the assumptions of Media Ecology Theory, namely how media can influence humans through technology. UGTV as a digital television medium for the educational community is able to provide useful broadcasts. The existing event program can provide information and knowledge to the public, especially students, to understand how to become a digital society today. The use of UGTV has proven effective in improving the quality of education by providing relevant and beneficial content. Research also shows that UGTV not only serves as an information source but also acts as an interactive learning tool, enabling students to learn independently through UGTV programs. The research also hopes that the use of UGTV will continue to grow and attract more viewers to contribute to the well-being of society in the digital era.
