This research aims to explore the cultural and spiritual significance of Gueci Water, a water source considered sacred in the Po Teumeureuhom tomb complex, Gampong Glee Jong, Aceh Jaya. The focus of the study is on the symbolic value and collective identity of the Acehnese people associated with this tradition. This research uses a qualitative approach with a combination of literature study and ethnographic methods. The literature study included historical literature, scientific articles, and cultural anthropology books. Field data was obtained through participatory observation and in-depth interviews with traditional leaders, tomb guards, and local people. Gueci water is understood as a medium of blessing (barakah), healing and spiritual connection, used in pilgrimages and religious rituals. The use of this water is governed by customary norms and local beliefs, and is passed down through generations as part of the community's cultural and spiritual identity. This study is useful in the fields of cultural anthropology, religious studies, ethnography, cultural heritage preservation, and education of Islamic traditions of the archipelago. This research can also be applied in the development of community-based cultural preservation programs in Aceh and surrounding areas. This research offers a new perspective in understanding Aceh's spiritual traditions through the phenomenology of religion approach. By highlighting the symbolism of holy water as a form of living cultural heritage, this study also enriches the study of the relationship between sacred space, local beliefs, and collective community identity.
