PENGARUH MOTIVASI DAN SUPERVISI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN (Studi di PT. Cahaya Sakti Multi Intraco, Bogor)

Abstract


Employee motivation must be carried out by knowing several components that influence them in carrying out their work. Employee performance can be done by stimulating aspects that make him want to take action that is more directed at increasing work productivity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation on employee performance, the influence of supervision on employee performance and to determine the effect of motivation and supervision together on the performance of lower-level employees (staff). The population of this research is employees of PT. Cahaya Sakti Multi Intraco, Bogor totaling 102 people. Data collection uses a questionnaire as the main instrument, and interviews to check the correctness of the data. Employee performance depends on the efforts of PT. Cahaya Sakti Multi Intraco, Bogor in motivating employees by fulfilling their needs and how supervisors supervise and foster employees. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive correlation between variable motivation and employee performance that is equal to 0.161 or 16.1%, so it is increasingly clear that motivation has an important role in improving employee performance, especially lower level employees (staff). Supervising variables affect employee performance variables as evidenced by multiple linear regression analysis with the results of R Square of 0.152 or 15.2%, so it is clear that supervision has an effect on the performance of employees of PT. Cahaya Sakti Multi Intraco, Bogor. Likewise the variable motivation and supervision have a joint effect on employee performance as evidenced by multiple regression analysis of 0.201 or by 20.1%. Thus the variable motivation and supervision affect the performance of employees of PT. Cahaya Sakti Multi Intraco, Bogor.
