Kompetensi Retorika Santri Melalui Pelatihan Dakwah di Pondok Pesantren Al-Farabi

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis kompetensi retorika santri Pondok Pesantren Al-Farabi melalui lima aspek teori retorika Aristoteles: invention, arrangement, style, memory, dan delivery. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penemuan topik masih normatif dan minim analisis sosial; penyusunan teks sistematis namun kurang argumentatif; gaya bahasa mulai adaptif tetapi terbatas secara retoris; strategi penghafalan masih sederhana; serta penyampaian sudah berkembang meski perlu peningkatan pada intonasi, gestur, dan interaksi audiens. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pelatihan retorika berbasis isu sosial kekinian.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to analyze the rhetorical competence of students at Al-Farabi Islamic Boarding School through five aspects of Aristotle's rhetorical theory: invention, arrangement, style, memory, and delivery. The approach used is qualitative with a case study method. The results show that topic discovery is still normative and lacks social analysis; text composition is systematic but lacks argumentativeness; language style is starting to be adaptive but rhetorically limited; memorization strategies are still simple; and delivery has developed although it needs improvement in intonation, gestures, and audience interaction. This study recommends rhetorical training based on contemporary social issues.
