Studi Pengaruh Anion Asetat Terhadap Kelarutan Li2CO3 sebagai Dasar Recovery Litium pada Kondisi Terlindi Asam Asetat

Litium karbonat, salah satu bentuk senyawa litium yang paling sering dihasilkan pada proses daur ulang baterai bekas. Pada industri proses mineral, pembentukan senyawa litium karbonat disintesis pada kondisi adanya anion-anion ikutan yang berasal dari proses pelindian. Pada beberapa dekade, penggunaan larutan pelindi anorganik mulai ditinggalkan dan beralih ke pelindi organik. Salah satu asam organik yang memberikan hasil recovery leaching tertinggi adalah asam asetat, akan tetapi pembentukan litium karbonat dalam larutan yang mengandung anion asetat sulit dilakukan yang dikarenakan efek anion asetat terhadap kelarutan litium karbonat belum teridentifikasi, Pada penelitian ini, dipelajari pengaruh anion asetat dalam pengendapan litium karbonat dan dari hasil ini didapatkan bahwa pengaruh konsentrasi asetat bersifat non linear terhadap kelarutan litium karbonat dan disimpulkan bahwa konsentrasi asetat 0,2 mol memberikan kelarutan terendah terhadap litium karbonat. Dengan informasi tersebut, maka diharapkan permasalahan recovery litium karbonat pada larutan pelindi asetat dapat terselesaikan.
