Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Here are author guidelines for Journal Al-Khidmat (JAK):

  1. The manuscript can be written using Indonesian or English. The author must write an article in accordance with journal format, as in the template of the article [template].
  2. The article contains the background and purpose of research, related studies, methods to solve the problem, results, and discussion, conclusions and suggestions, reference list.
  3. The submitted article must be written within 7-15 pages. You can send it by AL-Khidmat journal address at the following link http://http://journal.uinsgd.ac.id/index.php/al-khidmat/. The author must log in first to send his an article. The submission guide can be downloaded on the following pages.
  4. The format should follow the following format:
    • Title: 12 pt.
    • Author name: 11 pt.
    • Footnote: 8pt.
    • Title in section, subsection, and reference: 11pt and written with a capital letter.
    • Content: 11 pt, flat left-right.
    • Abstract: 11pt, bold for the title and left-right flat for the content.
    • Image caption: 11pt, center.
    • Table caption: 11pt, center.
    • Reference: 11pt, left-right.
    • Margin: Left: 20mm, right: 20mm, top: 20mm, bottom: 20mm.
  5. The table should be numbered, for example, in Table 1. Category. The description of the table (number and title of the table) must be placed above the table. 
  6. Images should be numbered, for example, Figure 1. workflow Diagram. The description of the image (the number and the title of the image) must be placed in below of the image.
  7. Mathematical formulas must be written clearly, number and information must be described in the formula.
  8. Citation and reference writing is written using APA  (American Psychological Association 6th edition) without numbering.

Journal Al-Khidmat is a national peer-reviewed and open access journal that publishes significant and important research from all area of Community Engagement.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content that making research published in this journal freely available to the public that supports a greater exchange of knowledge.

Submission of a manuscript implies that the submitted work has not been published before (except as part of a thesis or report, or abstract); that it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors. If and when the manuscript is accepted for publication, the author(s) still hold the copyright and retain publishing rights without restrictions. Authors or others are allowed to multiply the article as long as not for commercial purposes. For the new invention, authors are suggested to manage its patent before published.
