Salah satu program prioritas kemendikbud dalam menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas adalah literasi pendidikan. Literasi kini sudah menjadi program yang diwajibkan oleh pemerintah melalui pembelajaran yang ada di sekolah. Menulis merupakan salah satu bagian dalam mengaktualisasikan budaya literasi. PKM ini dilakukan sebagai sarana pendampingan kepada siswa MAN 1 Kab. Cirebon dalam penguatan literasi menulis karya ilmiah dalam persiapan mengikuti Madrasah Young Researchers Super Camp (MYRES). Dalam pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini digunakan metodologi Participatory Learning and Action (PLA), sebagai strategi untuk mencapai tujuan dari pengabdian. Dalam aktualisasi PLA, peran utama abdimas adalah membuka ruang dialog, membantu mengembangan refleksi dalam peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta dan analisis kritis. Hasil dari pendampingan dalam pengabdian ini adalah siswa mampu membuat sebuah judul penelitian, parafrase, latar belakang, metode dan mengetahui bidang-bidang keilmuan dalam menulis karya ilmiah.

 

Abstract

One of the priority programs of the Ministry of Education and Culture in creating quality human resources is educational literacy. Literacy has now become a program required by the government through learning in schools. Writing is one part of actualizing the culture of literacy. This PKM is carried out as a means of mentoring MAN 1 students of Cirebon Regency in strengthening the literacy of writing scientific papers in preparation for participating in the Madrasah Young Researchers Super Camp (MYRES). In this community service, the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA) methodology is used as a strategy to achieve the goals of the service. In the actualization of the PLA, the main role of the abdimas is to open up spaces for dialogue, helping to develop reflection in the improvement of participants' knowledge and skills and critical analysis. The result of mentoring in this service is that students are able to make a research title, paraphrase, background, method and know the scientific fields in writing scientific papers.
