Abstract
One of the materials of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) at the Senior High School (SMA) level is the provision of the direction of the Qibla in performing prayers. Determining the direction of the Qibla must be done carefully based on knowledge, because the direction of the Qibla is one of the requirements for prayer. In its curriculum, PAI teachers do not directly get specific material on the direction of the Qibla, because this material is in the astronomy course at the Sharia Faculty. So not all PAI teachers teach the practicum of determining the direction of the Qibla directly, but only through narration. The practicum of determining the direction of the Qibla with the Mizwala tool is one of the training activities and practices for measuring the direction of the Qibla directly. PAI teachers from various high schools participated in this activity, it is hoped that they can increase their experience in determining the correct direction of the Qibla, so that it can be conveyed back to students. The community service method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which involves all participants in the ongoing mentoring process. The results of the activity showed that the teachers better understood the theory and practice of measuring the correct direction of the Qibla. And the material presented is closely related to learning activities in the classroom.
