Upaya Multisektor Penanggulangan Femisida di Meksiko dan Relevansinya bagi Indonesia

Fenomena femisida atau pembunuhan terhadap perempuan semakin menjadi perhatian global, termasuk di Meksiko, dimana merujuk pada Amnesty International mencatat sedikitnya sepuluh kasus setiap harinya. Tingginya angka femisida di negara tersebut tidak terlepas dari pengaruh budaya patriarki yang masih mengakar kuat dalam struktur sosial dan hukum. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis berbagai upaya penanganan femisida di Meksiko serta menelaah relevansinya dalam konteks Indonesia, mengingat kasus kekerasan berbasis gender juga kian mengkhawatirkan di tanah air. Kajian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kepustakaan, mengandalkan data sekunder dari literatur akademik, laporan organisasi internasional, media massa, dan dokumen hukum. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penanganan femisida di Meksiko melibatkan intervensi berbagai aktor, mulai dari organisasi internasional dan regional, perjuangan aktivis dan seniman melalui berbagai medium termasuk media digital, hingga penguatan aspek hukum dengan pemberian sanksi tegas terhadap pelaku. Upaya tersebut dapat menjadi bahan refleksi dan inspirasi bagi Indonesia dalam membangun kebijakan penanggulangan femisida yang lebih komprehensif dan responsif terhadap korban.
