Focus and Scope

Jurnal AGRO aims to provide a forum for researches on agrotechnology science to publish the original articles.

The scope of Jurnal AGRO are:

  1. plant/crop science,
  2. agronomy,
  3. horticulture,
  4. plant breeding - tissue culture,
  5. hydroponic/soil less cultivation,
  6. soil plant science,
  7. plant protection.

Peer Review Process

Jurnal AGRO is an electronic international journal established by Agrotechnology Department, Faculty of Science and Technology, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. The articles submitted to this journal will pass the review process, and the accepted articles will available online in this journal. The manuscripts are allowed both in English and Bahasa.

  1. Each manuscripts will be reviewed by reviewer.
  2. The review process uses double Blind Review, means that reviewer will not know the author identity, and the author will not know the reviewer identity. 
  3. One article will be reviewed by two expert reviewers
  4. On reviewing process, reviewer gives considerations related to suitability between titles, abstracts, discussion (results) and conclusion. Further, the reviewer also gives consideration related to novelty, scientific impact, and references used.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

This journal is open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to users or / institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to full text articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or author. This is in accordance with Budapest Open Access Initiative
