Abstract
Kesusastraan, dalam kaitannya dengan para penulis dan karya-karyanya, dipandang psikoanalisis dari sudut sistematis irrasionalnya dalam meneropong para penulis atau karakter-karakter dalam tulisannya, yang secara umum diterima, untuk memahami benar-benar siapa sebenarnya penulis-penulis tersebut, atau siapa sebenarnya karakter-karakter dalam karya-karyanya tersebut. Kajian psikoanalisis menguak secara rinci setiap perkembangan individu manusia berdasarkan keadaan sosial dan historisnya, bagaimana proses terbangunnya seorang manusia dalam perjalanan kompleks dari waktu ke waktu, dari semenjak bayi hingga dewasa, atau bahkan hingga mati. Keberadaan kajian ini mengintegrasikan subjek manusia dengan lingkungan sosialnya, orang-orang yang berada disekitarnya, dan hubungannya dengan orang-orang tersebut.
