REPRESENTASI KEARIFAN LOKAL DALAM KEPEMIMPINAN PADA CERITA RAKYAT SASAKALA GUNUNG TAMPOMAS

Penelitian ini memaparkan nilai kearifan lokal dalam kepemimpinan dalam cerita rakyat Sasakala Gunung Tampomas. Cerita rakyat Sasakala Gunung Tampomas dalam penelitian ini ditelaah untuk memeriksa nilai kearifan lokal yang merepresentasikan kepemimpinan masyarakat Sumedang. Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini menganalisis objek menggunakan teori analisis naratif Vladimir Propp untuk mengupas struktur cerita dan fungsi cerita. Semiotika Roland Barthes untuk mengupas nilai-nilai kearifan lokal berdasarkan tanda dan makna, kemudian menggunakan teori Representasi Stuart Hall untuk melihat representasi kepemimpinan. Hasil analisis dari penelitian ini, yaitu: 1) terdapat delapan fungsi cerita dan tindakan setiap karakter mengartikulasikan nilai-nilai kepemimpinan, 2) tanda-tanda dalam Sasakala Gunung Tampomas berkaitan dengan nilai kepemimpinan menurut kearifan lokal; dan 3) kebijakan yang dikeluarkan pemimpin Sumedang dalam sejarah kepemimpinan ditampilkan dalam cerita rakyat Sasakala Gunung Tampomas.
