Disiplin Kerja dan Promosi Jabatan: Kunci Peningkatan Kinerja Pegawai di Akademi Sekretaris dan Manajemen Kencana Bandung

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh disiplin kerja dan promosi jabatan terhadap kinerja pegawai di Akademi Sekretaris dan Manajemen Kencana Bandung. Urgensi penelitian ini terletak pada peran disiplin kerja dan promosi jabatan sebagai isu sentral pengelolaan SDM di pendidikan tinggi, khususnya perguruan tinggi swasta yang menghadapi keterbatasan sumber daya namun dituntut menjaga mutu layanan akademik dan tata kelola. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif-verifikatif. Sampel penelitian mencakup seluruh pegawai (n = 70) melalui kuesioner skala Likert, yang diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Data dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda, uji t, uji F, serta koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa disiplin kerja dan promosi jabatan secara simultan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai (F = 15,676; p < 0,001; R² = 0,319). Namun, pengaruh parsial keduanya tidak signifikan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya penerapan kebijakan disiplin dan promosi secara terpadu untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Implikasi penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi bagi manajemen perguruan tinggi untuk merancang kebijakan sumber daya manusia yang konsisten, transparan, dan berbasis kinerja.
