Tradisi Literasi Membaca di Pondok Pesantren Wali Kecamatan Tuntang Kabupaten Semarang

This study aims to determine the form of reading tradition and supporting and inhibiting factors at the Wali Islamic Boarding School, Tuntang District, Semarang Regency. This type of research is a qualitative research type with data collection through field observation, documentation, and interviews. Data sources in this study include primary data sources and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the tradition of reading literacy at the Wali Islamic Boarding School is not only learning from yellow books with sorogan and bandongan, but also through modern literacy programs, namely the publication of written works, One Week One Book, Morning Sharing of Book Contents, and thematic studies. In the implementation of the program there are supporting and inhibiting factors.
