About the Journal

CALL (e-ISSN: 2723-2417) is an online, open-access, peer-reviewed academic journal first published in 2019 that presents critical analysis of the English language and literature. The journal covers research and conceptual frameworks on linguistic issues in various fields, such as pragmatics, sociolinguistics, critical discourse analysis, and others. It also covers literary history, literary theory, movies, literary criticism, and related media.

Issues are published twice per year in June and December by English Literature, Faculty of Adab and Humanities, Universitas Islam Negeri Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. This journal is indexed in SINTA 3, based on the accreditation decree issued by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. (Sinta 3 certificate)).

All articles have been published in English. Submissions are open year-round. However, before submitting an article, please ensure that the article fits into CALL's focus and scope, is written in English, and follows our author guidelines. Please note that only research and conceptual articles are accepted.
