Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Originality & exclusivity: Not previously published and not under review elsewhere (or justify in Comments to the Editor).
  • File format: Main manuscript in Microsoft Word (.docx) (no PDF at initial submission).
  • Template & style: Follows the JISPO Manuscript Template: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 spacing, standard margins, English only, with page and line numbers.
  • Structure: Sections ordered as required (Title page; Abstract; Keywords; Introduction; Methods; Results/Findings; Discussion; Conclusion; Acknowledgments; Funding; Author Contributions/CRediT; Data Availability;...

The checklist above is provided as a practical reference to assist authors in ensuring that their manuscripts meet the basic submission requirements. Copyright Notice

Authors who publish their manuscripts in JISPO agree to the following terms:

  1. Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal;
  2. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in this journal; and
  3. Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their websites) after publication process, or prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work (See The Effect of Open Access).

Privacy Statement

JISPO collects names, email addresses, and related account details provided during registration, submission, review, or readership sign-up solely for journal operations (editorial communication, author/reviewer notifications, workflow management, and indexing metadata). This information is not shared or sold and is accessible only to authorized editorial staff and system administrators. Data are stored securely within the journal’s OJS platform; limited, non-identifying usage statistics may be compiled to improve services. Cookies may be used for essential session functionality.

Users may update, correct, or request deletion of their personal data and adjust notification preferences at any time by contacting the editorial office (see the Contact page on the JISPO site).
