Pengaruh Latihan Mindfulness Terhadap Tingkat Perhatian Mahasiswa

Perhatian merupakan fungsi kognitif penting dalam proses pembelajaran, tetapi sering terganggu oleh beban kognitif dan distraksi lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas latihan mindfulness singkat berupa pernapasan sadar dalam meningkatkan perhatian mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen kuantitatif pre-test–post-test dengan kelompok kontrol yang melibatkan 30 mahasiswa semester awal yang dibagi secara acak ke dalam kelompok eksperimen (latihan pernapasan sadar 10 menit) dan kelompok kontrol (membaca teks netral). Indikator perhatian diukur melalui Stroop test yang mencakup waktu reaksi dan akurasi. Analisis menggunakan Mixed ANOVA yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan antara pre-test dan post-test pada waktu reaksi (p = .012; η² = .203) dan akurasi (p = .004; η² = .257), meskipun tidak ditemukan interaksi signifikan antara waktu dan kelompok. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa latihan mindfulness singkat berpotensi meningkatkan perhatian mahasiswa, meskipun tidak secara eksklusif membedakan kinerja antar kelompok.Perhatian merupakan fungsi kognitif penting dalam proses pembelajaran, tetapi sering terganggu oleh beban kognitif dan distraksi lingkungan.
