Strategi Pemberdayaan Sanggar Benjang Mekar Budaya Melalui Community Based Research Dalam Penguatan Tradisi Di Desa Ciporeat

ABSTRAK
Tradisi lokal, termasuk seni Benjang di wilayah Ujung Berung, menghadapi tekanan modernisasi yang melemahkan minat generasi muda dan proses pewarisan nilai budaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis strategi pemberdayaan Sanggar Benjang Mekar Budaya dalam penguatan tradisi Benjang di Desa Ciporeat, mencakup upaya pemungkinan, penguatan kapasitas, dan perlindungan keberlanjutan tradisi. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode Community Based Research (CBR), melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan Focus Group Discussion dengan informan yang dipilih secara purposif. Data dianalisis menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sanggar berhasil menciptakan kondisi kondusif melalui fasilitas memadai, promosi digital, dan atmosfer kekeluargaan; memperkuat kapasitas anggota melalui sistem latihan terstruktur dan pendekatan multiskill; serta melindungi tradisi melalui penjagaan keaslian dan kaderisasi selektif. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan CBR efektif sebagai model pemberdayaan komunitas seni tradisional yang partisipatif dan berkelanjutan.

ABSTRACT
Local traditions, including the Benjang art in Ujung Berung, face pressure from modernization that weakens young people's interest and the inheritance of cultural values. This study analyzes the empowerment strategy of Sanggar Benjang Mekar Budaya in strengthening the Benjang tradition in Ciporeat Village, covering enabling efforts, capacity strengthening, and sustainability protection. A qualitative approach was used with the Community Based Research (CBR) method, through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and Focus Group Discussions with purposively selected informants, analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The findings show that the studio created conducive conditions through adequate facilities, digital promotion, and a familial atmosphere; strengthened members' capacity through structured training and a multiskill approach; and protected the tradition through authenticity preservation and selective regeneration. The study concludes that the CBR approach is an effective, participatory, and sustainable model for empowering traditional art communities.
