References Management
All manuscripts submitted to BELTIC Journal must follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition referencing style. Authors are required to ensure consistency and accuracy in all in-text citations and reference entries.
- In-Text Citations (APA 7th Edition)
Use the author–date system for in-text citations. Depending on the structure, citations may be narrative or parenthetical.
Single Author
- Narrative: Smith (2020) argues that...
- Parenthetical: (Smith, 2020)
Two Authors
- Narrative: Jones and Lee (2021) found that...
- Parenthetical: (Jones & Lee, 2021)
Three or More Authors
- Use the first author's surname followed by et al.
- Narrative: Ali et al. (2022) observed...
- Parenthetical: (Ali et al., 2022)
Direct Quotation
Include page numbers:
- (Johnson, 2020, p. 45) or Johnson (2020) stated, “...” (p. 45).
- Reference List Format
The reference list should be placed at the end of the manuscript and arranged alphabetically by the surname of the first author. Use a hanging indent for each reference.

Important Notes
- Use italics for journal titles and book titles.
- Use sentence case for article and chapter titles.
- Provide DOIs for journal articles and digital publications where available.
All cited sources in the text must appear in the reference list, and vice versa.
