Vol. 8 No. 2 (2025): Temali: Jurnal Pembangunan Sosial

All articles in this issue (11 original research articles) were authored or co-authored by 27 scholars from 7 institutions across Indonesia, representing diverse academic disciplines and perspectives. This issue explores a wide range of topics in social development, including the preservation of cultural traditions and the strengthening of social solidarity through the Sedekah Bumi and Tasyakuran rituals in Central Java, power relations between government institutions and civil society organizations in electoral monitoring, and strategies for enhancing the political participation of persons with disabilities in local elections. Other studies examine the influence of transformational leadership on organizational citizenship behavior, the contribution of local coffee commodities and community-based tourism to tourist satisfaction, and the psychosocial dynamics underlying children's decisions to engage in labor in rural communities. Additionally, the issue addresses online gaming addiction among children, women's leadership and self-efficacy in local government, and adolescent involvement in online gambling and its implications for moral and social behavior. Further contributions investigate Indonesia's experience in promoting religious moderation within ASEAN and global contexts, as well as dynamic governance and digital innovations in accelerating stunting reduction in West Java. Collectively, these studies reflect the journal's commitment to advancing critical, contextual, and interdisciplinary research on social transformation, community development, public governance, and contemporary social challenges.
