1. Publication Frequency

Regular annual publication schedule
Issue Scheduled publication month
Issue 1 April
Issue 2 August
Issue 3 December

The months above identify the regular issue schedule. The actual publication date is recorded on the relevant issue and article pages.

2. Year-Round Submissions

Authors may submit manuscripts throughout the year. Regular submissions are not restricted to periods immediately before the scheduled publication months.

Manuscripts are processed through editorial screening, peer review, revision, and final assessment in accordance with the journal’s Peer Review Process policy. A submission date does not determine or guarantee placement in a particular issue.

Authors should consult the Author Guidelines before submitting a manuscript.

3. Scheduling Accepted Articles

Only manuscripts that have received final acceptance and completed the required production checks are eligible for publication. Issue allocation takes account of:

  • Completion of peer review and all required revisions.
  • Resolution of outstanding ethical or editorial questions.
  • Completion of copyediting, formatting, and author proof corrections.
  • The production queue and available space in scheduled issues.
  • The scholarly coherence and balance of the issue.

Publication is normally targeted within twelve to twenty-four weeks after final acceptance, consistent with the journal’s Peer Review Process policy. This is an operational target, not a guarantee of publication in a specific issue.

The issue schedule and manuscript processing timeline serve different purposes: the schedule identifies when issues are planned for release, while the processing timeline describes the assessment and preparation of individual manuscripts.

4. Publication Dates and Issue Integrity

Publication dates must accurately reflect the release of the relevant content. The journal does not backdate articles or alter publication dates to create the appearance of compliance with a scheduled release.

Once an issue has been formally released as complete, additional research or review articles must not be inserted retrospectively into that issue. Articles awaiting publication are assigned to an appropriate forthcoming issue.

Necessary corrections to published content are handled transparently under the journal’s Correction and Retraction policy, with appropriate notices and links to the affected articles.

If the journal introduces an Online First or Issue in Progress arrangement, the applicable procedure and publication status will be announced clearly. Content released under such an arrangement must be distinguished from a completed issue.

5. Schedule Updates and Enquiries

If an issue is delayed, the journal will communicate the delay and provide a revised publication estimate where possible. Actual publication dates will remain accurately recorded.

Any change to the regular publication frequency or scheduled months will be announced publicly and reflected consistently across the journal’s information pages. Such changes will identify the volume or year from which they take effect.

Readers may consult the Journal Archives for published issues. Authors with questions about manuscript status or publication scheduling may contact the editorial office through the Contact page.
