ENGLISH TEACHERS' DIGITAL LITERACY COMPETENCES : A CASE STUDY ON MILLENIAL AND GEN-Z TEACHERS IN ISLAMIC JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL

This research uses a qualitative method with a case study design. The participants in this research consisted of four English teachers at Islamic Junior High School, Bandung. The sample used was purposeful for this research. Researchers conducted a questionnaire to determine teachers' abilities in digital literacy. Then conduct interviews to dig up deeper information regarding his abilities in digital literacy. Then carry out written reflection validation as proof that they answered seriously. Based on the results of questionnaires and interviews, it shows that the digital literacy skills of English teachers are quite good. Even though this implementation was actually carried out this year. But, overall, it's pretty good. In conclusion, the generational differences in English teachers' abilities in digital literacy have a significant influence on their learning process in accordance with the theory that states that having digital literacy skills can facilitate teaching and learning activities, make learning effective and efficient, and increase students' interest and motivation in teaching
