Educational Philosophy of Habib Umar bin Hafidz: Exploring Moral Education Concepts

This study aims to analyze and describe the concept of moral education Habib Umar bin Hafidz, a scholar from Hadramaut Yemen. The research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques  with interviews, observations and documentation studies. The results of the study can be concluded that moral education in the  perspective of  Habib Umar bin Hafidz consists of several stages  starting from the stages  before marriage, during  pregnancy, stages during childbirth ,  Children's stages and school stages. The process  of moral education  in the  perspective of Habib Umar bin Hafidz is divided into four parts, namely: First; Gharsu 'adzamat al din fi qulubi al muta'allimin (the enstillation of religious greatness into the learners). Second; Ishal al ma'lumat ila adzhanihim wa tafqihihim fi al din (transfer pknowledge and information into students  and print them to become people who understand religion). Third; Shibghuhum bi al akhlaq al islamiyyah al karimah (adorn them with praiseworthy morals). Fourth; Ta'liq qulubihim bi al da'wah ila Allah wa hamli hammi al  din wa al risalah al muhammadiyyah.  The concept of moral education from the perspective of Habib Umar bin Hafidz is very relevant to be applied as an effort to educate the character of students in Indonesia.
