Abstract

Abstract

State of exception is a condition where law is suspended. Giorgio Agamben viewed such conditions as a trojan horse which allow fascism of sovereignty to prevail. Sovereignty itself is politically absolute yet imaginary. The logic of emergency, which is the kernel of sovereignty, has always been operating in modern state. State of exception is the immanence onthology that becomes the requirement of fascism to take place. Such political praxis undelies the fascism of the sovereignty since the sovereign itself act as a hidden absolute power in modern state which prevail in the state of exception. As long as politics and powers rely on the logic of inclusion and exclusion and the power of sovereignty, the power will have always been operated in fascistic ways.
