Focus and Scope
JPIB: Jurnal Psikologi Islam dan Budaya is a peer-reviewed scientific journal specializing in Islamic and cultural psychology. The journal publishes empirical research using quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-method approaches to explore psychological processes in individuals, groups, and communities within Muslim and/or cultural contexts.
JPIB welcomes studies that contribute to a deeper understanding of psychological dynamics influenced by Islamic values, traditions, and diverse cultural backgrounds, including but not limited to:
- Mental health and well-being in Muslim societies
- Spirituality, religiosity, and psychological resilience
- Cross-cultural psychology in Islamic communities
- Identity, values, and moral development
- Social behavior, cooperation, and conflict resolution
- Educational psychology in Islamic settings
- Indigenous and cultural psychology perspectives
