Call for Reviewers

Peer reviewers play a vital role in ensuring the scientific quality and integrity of articles published in the Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics (JoTaLP). Reviewers are responsible for providing constructive feedback to the editorial team regarding the quality, originality, and contribution of submitted manuscripts to the field of physics education.

Reviewers are expected to conduct evaluations in a timely, collegial, and professional manner. Through their expertise, objectivity, fairness, and insightful evaluations, reviewers contribute to maintaining JoTaLP as a reputable journal in terms of scientific quality and academic rigor.

JoTaLP is currently seeking researchers, academics, and professionals who are willing to serve voluntarily as part of our Advisory and Reviewer Board.

Qualifications for Reviewers:

  1. Must be an academic or researcher affiliated with a credible educational or research institution,

  2. Competent in research (proven by having a Google Scholar ID and/or Scopus ID as well as SINTA ID),

  3. Proficient in scientific writing in English and familiar with the OJS 3 system.

Reviewer Commitment:
By joining as a reviewer, you agree to adhere to the following conditions:

  1. You must not accept to review a manuscript if:

    • A personal or financial conflict of interest exists; or

    • You feel unable to provide an impartial and objective review, free from professional or personal bias.

  2. If there are any concerns regarding a potential conflict of interest, you should contact the Editor-in-Chief for a decision on whether it is appropriate to proceed with the review.

  3. In cases where unforeseen circumstances prevent timely completion of the review, you must inform the editor immediately so that suitable arrangements can be made.

  4. This agreement may be terminated at any time, with written notice, by either the Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics or the reviewer, without the need to provide specific reasons.
