Abstract


This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in Islamic Religious Education This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of class XI students in the Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subject at MA Daarul Uluum PUI Majalengka using the Jigsaw method. This Classroom Action Research (PTK) was carried out in three cycles. In the first cycle, the expected results were not achieved because students were still not used to the new learning method. However, after being given additional motivation, the second cycle showed a significant increase in interest in learning among students. In the third cycle, very significant changes were seen with a high increase in interest in learning. The conclusion of this research is that the Jigsaw method is effective in increasing students' interest in learning in SKI subjects. The results of this research show that applying appropriate learning methods and providing sufficient motivation can help overcome students' learning difficulties and improve their learning outcomes.
