Aplikasi Kencan Online dan Implikasinya Terhadap Transformasi Perilaku Seksual di Kalangan Mahasiswi di Yogyakarta

Abstrak
Artikel ini mengkaji pengaruh sosiokultural aplikasi kencan online (misalnya, Tinder, Bumble, dan Tantan) terhadap perilaku seksual mahasiswi di Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Aplikasi-aplikasi ini, yang menawarkan fitur "orang terdekat" dan anonimitas, memfasilitasi koneksi dan berpotensi berkontribusi pada praktik seksual yang lebih permisif. Dengan menggunakan metodologi etnografi kualitatif, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana beberapa mahasiswi memanfaatkan platform ini untuk menjalin hubungan seksual kasual. Faktor-faktor yang berkontribusi pada fenomena ini meliputi kemudahan akses, anonimitas yang diberikan oleh aplikasi, lanskap sosial yang berubah, dan pengaruh budaya populer yang meluas, yang semuanya tampak mengurangi batasan sosial tradisional pada ekspresi seksual. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi ini tidak hanya memfasilitasi pertemuan seksual tetapi juga mendorong lingkungan virtual di mana mahasiswi menegosiasikan dan berpotensi menginternalisasi nilai-nilai seksual yang berkembang, yang dibentuk oleh budaya populer dan konteks sosial yang lebih permisif.
