Pengaruh Marital Satisfaction Terhadap Kecenderungan Infidelity Pada Dewasa Madya Pengguna Facebook

 Fenomena perselingkuhan dalam ikatan pernikahan dapat terjadi pada pasangan usia dewasa madya yang telah menjalani pernikahan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Adanya perselingkuhan (infidelity) dapat disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah permasalahan kepuasan dalam pernikahan (marital satisfaction). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami pengaruh marital satisfaction terhadap kecenderungan infidelity dalam kelompok X, suatu komunitas dewasa madya yang memiliki minat serupa, seperti mengunjungi tempat karaoke, bar, kafe hingga melakukan perjalanan ke luar kota tanpa didampingi oleh pasangan atau keluarga. Selain itu, mereka secara aktif berkomunikasi melalui grup Facebook khusus. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan versi termodifikasi dari alat ukur ENRICH Marital Satisfaction Scale dan Propensity towards Infidelity Scale. Terdapat 43 responden (24 pria dan 19 wanita) berusia 40-65 tahun dan masih terikat dalam pernikahan dengan durasi usia pernikahan lebih dari 15 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepuasan pernikahan berpengaruh terhadap kecenderungan perselingkuhan dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 56.2% dan kontribusi dari rendahnya kepuasan pernikahan memiliki peran signifikan dalam meningkatkan perilaku berselingkuh.
