ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam meningkatkan pemahaman agama anak-anak melalui program magrib mengaji, menganalisis implementasi dan mengidentifikasi hasil capaian dari program tersebut. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan pendekatan kualitatif, menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori pemberdayaan masyarakat menurut Eko Sudarmanto dkk yang menekankan peningkatan kapasitas kelompok tertinggal melalui partisipasi aktif. Hasilnya, program magrib mengaji berjalan efektif dengan dukungan tokoh agama dan masyarakat. Secara umum, program ini memberikan dampak positif dalam menghidupkan kembali fungsi masjid sebagai pusat pendidikan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat berkelanjutan.

ABSTRACT
This study aims to describe community empowerment in improving children’s religious understanding through the maghrib quran reading program, analyze its emplementation, and identify the program’s achievments. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) with a qualitative approach, utilizing observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. This study utilizes the community empowerment theory by Eko Sudarmanto et al., which emphasizes increasing the capacity of disadvantaged groups through active participation. As a result, the Maghrib Quran reading program runs effectively with the support of religious and community leaders. Overall, this program has had a positive impact in revitalizing the function of mosques as centers of education and sustainable community empowerment.
