Manuscript type
Jurnal AGRO considers only Original Research Articles for publication. Review articles, systematic reviews without original research, opinion pieces, letters, book reviews, conference abstracts, and other non-research article types are not accepted as independent manuscript categories.
Original Research Article
An Original Research Article presents previously unpublished primary research, a clearly formulated objective or hypothesis, appropriate methodology, transparent results, critical discussion, and conclusions supported by the evidence. Both positive and negative findings may be considered when the study is methodologically robust and contributes substantively to knowledge within the journal's scope.
Required elements
- Title, author names, affiliations, and corresponding-author details, provided through the submission system and manuscript files as instructed.
- Abstract, keywords, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion, conclusions, acknowledgments where applicable, and references.
- Research ethics approval or an explanation where not applicable, funding information, competing-interest declaration, author contribution statement, and data availability information where relevant.
- Tables, figures, references, and supporting files prepared according to the current Author Guidelines.
All submissions must be original and must not be under review elsewhere. Material previously deposited as a preprint must be disclosed at submission so the editor can determine whether it is compatible with the journal's originality and peer-review policies. Any overlap with theses, conference materials, or earlier publications must be explained and appropriately cited. The journal may request underlying data and supplementary material to assess reproducibility.
