Ta’lim al-‘Arabiyyah: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab dan Kebahasaaraban
p-ISSN: [2721-5237] | e-ISSN: [2549-208X] is a peer-reviewed and open-access scholarly journal published by UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Indonesia. The journal is published twice a year (June and December), and all published articles are freely available online with open access.
Aims
Ta’lim al-‘Arabiyyah: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa Arab dan Kebahasaaraban aims to provide a high-quality academic platform for researchers, scholars, and practitioners in the field of Arabic language education and linguistics. The journal seeks to promote the scientific development of theory and practice in Arabic teaching, learning, and linguistic studies, emphasizing innovations that contribute to the advancement of Arabic education in global and local contexts.
Focus
The journal focuses on publishing empirical and conceptual research articles that explore the teaching and learning of the Arabic language, Arabic linguistics, and their interdisciplinary relations with education, culture, and technology. It welcomes studies that contribute to the theoretical, methodological, and pedagogical understanding of Arabic education and linguistics in both traditional and modern frameworks.
Scope
The scope of Ta’lim al-‘Arabiyyah includes, but is not limited to, the following areas:
- Arabic Language Education (Curriculum and Instruction, Teaching Methodologies, Learning Media, Assessment and Evaluation, Arabic for Specific Purposes, Digital and Hybrid Pedagogy, Educational Technology, and Teacher Training in Arabic Education);
- Arabic Linguistics and Applied Linguistics (Phonetics and Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Semantics, Pragmatics, Sociolinguistics, Psycholinguistics, and Corpus Linguistics);
- Arabic Literature and Cultural Studies (Classical and Modern Arabic Literature, Literary Criticism, Arabic Culture, Islamic Civilization, and Cross-Cultural Communication);
- Innovation in Arabic Language Learning (Gamification, Artificial Intelligence in Arabic Learning, Interactive Learning Platforms, and Multimedia-Based Arabic Instruction);
- Educational Research and Policy in Arabic Education (Curriculum Development, Language Planning, Teacher Professional Development, and Arabic Language Education Policy).
Through these areas, Ta’lim al-‘Arabiyyah serves as an academic forum for disseminating innovative ideas, theoretical developments, and empirical findings that advance the teaching and study of Arabic language and linguistics.
