About the Journal

Asy-Syari'ah (Print ISSN 2086-9029, Online ISSN 2654-5675) is a double-blind peer-reviewed scientific journal with both national and international scope, published by the Faculty of Sharia and Law, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, in collaboration with the Indonesia Sharia Scholars Association (ASSYI). The Journal seeks to disseminate innovative and thought-provoking research on Islamic law, law, and society, with contributions spanning monodisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and multidisciplinary approaches. The Asy-Syari'ah Journal publishes studies, research articles, literature reviews, and other scholarly works aimed at expanding and developing new concepts, theories, perspectives, and methodologies in the fields of Islamic law and its interaction with society. It provides a platform for academic discourse on various aspects of Shariah, Islamic legal systems, and contemporary issues related to law and society. Published biannually in June and December, Asy-Syari'ah has been accredited by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Republic of Indonesia, as an academic journal in Sinta 2 (as per SK Dirjen Pendidikan Tinggi, Riset dan Teknologi No: 79/E/KPT/2023), marking its high scholarly recognition.
