    Dear Authors, Researchers, and Readers,

    Please be informed that Asy-Syari'ah is temporarily not accepting new submissions until further notice. This measure is intended to allow the editorial team to focus on processing and completing manuscripts that have already been submitted and are currently in the editorial pipeline.

    We will announce the reopening of new submissions in due course. We kindly ask prospective authors to monitor the journal website for further updates.

    As an exception, we welcome inquiries regarding the publication of research with high impact and/or high novelty in the fields of Islamic Jurisprudence/Islamic Law. Such inquiries may be directed to the editorial office via:

  • Call for Editors & Reviewers Asy Syari'ah

    Asy Syari'ah (Print ISSN 2086 9029, Online ISSN 2654 5675) is a double blind, peer-reviewed journal published by the Faculty of Sharia and Law at UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, in collaboration with the Indonesia Sharia Scholars Association (ASSYI). Accredited as SINTA 2 by the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology, our journal upholds rigorous international standards to ensure the publication of original, methodologically sound research that bridges classical fiqh with contemporary challenges including technology, family law, socio-economic development, constitutional transformation, penal regulations, and environmental sustainability.
    Responsibilities and Qualifications
    1. Editors: Oversee manuscript submissions, assign reviewers, monitor the peer review process, and make final publication decisions. Editors must handle submissions impartially, respect confidentiality, and avoid conflicts of interest.

    Qualifications: Ph.D. (or equivalent), strong publication record, extensive peer review experience, expertise aligned with the journal's scope, and proficiency in English. Knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is advantageous.

    2. Reviewers: Provide unbiased, constructive feedback on manuscripts, adhere to confidentiality and ethical guidelines, declare conflicts of interest, and complete reviews promptly.
    Qualifications: Master's degree (Ph.D. preferred), relevant subject matter expertise, prior peer review experience, and ability to deliver thoughtful reviews in English. Familiarity with Bahasa Indonesia is beneficial.
