Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics focused on the results of the study and review of the literature in the sphere of physics learning. Some scope included:

Peer Review Process

  1. All articles that submit into the Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics will be selected and reviewed in double blind review (closed review) by reviewers who are experts in physics education research.
  2. Acceptance of the article depends on the truth of the content, the degree of authenticity, clarity of description, and conformity with the focus and scope of the journal.
  3. The reviewer's decision on the incoming article is as follows:
    1. accepted without revision,
    2. accepted with minor revisions,
    3. accepted by major revision,
    4. resubmit or
    5. rejected.
  4. The results of review articles by reviewers will be notified to the author via email.
  5. The author is given the opportunity to revise his article in accordance with the reviewer's suggestion (and editor) no later than 1 week after the notification email.
  6. Each submitted script will be screened plagiarism using turnitin
  7. Each submitted script will be screened grammar using grammarly.com
  8. Every manuscript / article will be reviewed and reviewed by reviewer (bestari partner).
  9. Review process using Double Blind Review, meaning the reviewer does not know the identity of the author, and the author did not know the identity of reviewers.
  10. In the review process, reviewers give consideration regarding the appropriateness between title with abstract, keyword, introduction, research method, research results and discussion, conclusions and suggestions.
  11. In addition, reviewers also give consideration related to novelty (novelty), scientific impact as well as reference used.
  12. All articles published in the Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics are open (open access).

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Publication Frequency

Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics is scheduled published twice a year in February and August by Physics Education Departement from Faculty Tarbiya and Teacher Training UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung.

 

 

Publication Ethics

Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics is peer-review journal which upholds the standards of academic publication ethics and against publication malpractices including plagiarism. It is, therefore, important to agree on the proper ethical behavior for scientific journals publication of all parties including the publishers, authors, editors, and peer reviewers to develop a conductive scientific environment and to avoid certain problems that may arise due to some conflict of interests.

 

Authorship of Research Paper.

Authorship of the research paper should be included to those who have performed a contribution to the concept of the research, research design, data acquisition, and analysis, or interpretation of the reported study. Co-authors should be listed as to the entire persons who have made significant contributions to the manuscript. The corresponding author has to responsible for the paper authorship. The corresponding author should make sure thal all the co-authors are listed in the paper, and that all co-authors have seen and approved the paper and have agreed to the submission for publication.

 

Duties of Authors.

Authors are responsible for providing original data without plagiarism and fraudulent data. Many forms of plagiarisms such as copying or paraphrasing substantial parts of another's paper without attribution, passing off researchers are prohibited. The author should ensure that they have written entirely original works concerning the manuscript submitted to Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics. Authors are obliged to follow in peer review process set by Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics. The submitted manuscript should not be under consideration or accepted for other journals. Where parts of the data have been published elsewhere, the sources have to be acknowledged or cited properly. Proper citation and permission are required when the authors reproduce data from other sources.

 

Duties of Editors.

Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics editors are responsible for deciding which submitted articles should be published and which one to be rejected. They have to evaluate the submitted manuscript for their intellectual and academic content without discrimination on race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, the political or geographical origin of the authors. Scientia Educatia editors must not spread any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate. Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in editors own research without the express written consent of the author.

 

Duties of Reviewers.

Reviewers are requested to assist in improving the quality of the submitted manuscript through an objective review process within a scheduled period of time and to contribute to the decision-making process on the manuscript. The editors have to inform reviewers if find any published or submitted content similar to that under their review. Reviewers should avoid conflict of interest with respect to the research, the authors and/or the research funders. Any confidentially of information supplied by the editor or author should be maintained.

 

Publication Charges

Every script/article submitted in Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics is IDR 0 of charge, which includes: article submission process, the review process, editing, publishing, and more.

 

Copyright Transfer Agreement

Authors submitting a manuscript do so on the understanding that if accepted for publication, copyright of the article shall be assigned to Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics, Department of Physics Education, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung as the publisher of this journal.

Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics, Editorial Board make every effort to ensure that no wrong or misleading data, opinions or statements be published in the journal. In any way, the contents of the articles and advertisements published in the Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics are the sole and exclusive responsibility of their respective authors and advertisers.

Policy of Screening for Plagiarism

Articles submitted to the Journal of Teaching and Learning Physics will be checked for similarity using the Turnitin program. Articles that level of similarity to more than 20% it will be rejected to publish in these journals.
