Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of collage activities in enhancing the fine motor skills of Class B students at RA Al Ishlah, located in Kp. Cibodas, RT 01 RW 05, Desa Cihaurkuning, Kecamatan Malangbong, Kabupaten Garut, Jawa Barat, during the 2023/2024 academic year. The research employs a quasi-experimental quantitative method involving 10 students. Data collection techniques include direct observation and documentation, utilizing observation sheets to assess fine motor skills before and after the collage activities. The results show a significant improvement in the students' ability to cut, paste, and arrange materials, indicating enhanced fine motor skills. Additionally, the collage activities positively impacted cognitive, emotional, and social aspects, promoting creative thinking, self-expression, and teamwork. This research underscores the holistic benefits of incorporating artistic activities into early childhood education to support overall development. Consequently, regular implementation of collage activities is recommended to optimize children's fine motor skills and other developmental aspects.
