This study aims to analyze the implementation of tabligh methods in shaping the religious understanding and practices of students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al-Mukhtariyah Citatah, Bandung Barat. The research is grounded in theories of adolescent development (Borring E.G., Monks, Pikunas) and Islamic communication and tabligh (Ibrahim Imam, Quraish Shihab, Hasjmi, Musthafa Malaikah). Adolescence is considered a transitional stage marked by identity search and vulnerability to external influences, making religious education crucial. Tabligh, defined as the transmission of Islamic teachings based on the Qur’an and Sunnah, is operationalized through three main methods: tabsyir (positive motivation), tandzir (warnings), and routine religious study sessions. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews with teachers and students, and documentation. The findings reveal that the madrasah applies tabsyir by providing encouragement and appreciation, tandzir by reminding students of the consequences of neglecting religious duties, and routine study sessions to habituate Qur’an recitation and prayer. Supporting factors include the strategic location, teachers’ pesantren background, and community support, while inhibiting factors involve limited facilities, low student numbers, lack of concentration, and weak discipline among teachers. Despite these challenges, the tabligh methods have significantly improved students’ motivation, Qur’an literacy, prayer discipline, and overall religious knowledge. The study concludes that balanced tabligh methods can effectively strengthen adolescent religiosity even in resource-limited educational contexts.
