About the Journal

The editorial board inviting the lecturers and practitioners in the scope of early childhood education to participate for submitting the articles journals related to the early childhood education. The article will be published after going through the manuscript selection mechanism, reviewing, and the editing process. The whole article which published an outlook and become the responsibility of the author and do not represent the JAPRA (Jurnal Pendidikan Raudhatul Athfal) or institutions affiliated authors.  JAPRA (Jurnal Pendidikan Raudhatul Athfal) published twice a year in March and September.

Focus and Scope

JAPRA (Jurnal Pendidikan Raudhatul Athfal) is research, study and analysis related to early childhood include; development of moral and religious values, physical motor development, emotional social development, cognitive development, language development, artistic and creative development, parenting, parenting, management institution of early childhood education, early child development assessment, child development psychology, child empowerment, ,learning strategy, Educational tool play, instructional media, innovation in early childhood education and various fields related to Early Childhood Education.

Peer Review Process

Every article that goes to the editorial staff will be selected through Initial Review processes by Editorial Board. Then, the articles will be sent to the Mitra Bebestari/ peer reviewer and will go to the next selection by Double Blind Preview Process. After that, the articles will be returned to the authors to revise. These processes take a month for a maximum time. In the each manuscript, Mitra Bebestari/ peer reviewer will be rated from the substantial and technical aspects. Mitra Bebestari/ peer reviewer that collaboration with JAPRA (Jurnal Pendidikan Raudhatul Athfal) is the experts in the Early Childhood Education area and issues around it. They were experienced in the prestigious journal management and publication that was spread around the national and abroad.

All submitted manuscripts are evaluated by editorial staff. Those Manuscript evaluated by editors to be inappropiate to journal criteria are rejected promptly without external review. Manuscript evaluated to be of potential interest to our readership are sent to double bilnd reviewers. The editors then make a decision based on the reviewer's recommendation from among several possibilities : rejected, revision required, or accepted.

The editor has the right to decide which manuscripts submitted to the journal should be published. Review Process :

  2. Editor Evaluation (some manuscript are rejected or returned before the review process) 
  3. Double Bind peer review process 
  4. Editor Decision 
  5. Confirmation to the author 

Open Access Policy

Seluruh konten informasi dan artikel yang tercantum dalam situs jurnal ini bersifat open access untuk tujuan penelitian pengembangan keilmuan dan karya inovatif yang relevan dengan disiplin pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini (PIAUD/PGRA).

Screening of Plagiarism

JAPRA (Jurnal Pendidikan Raudhatul Athfal) Editorial board recognizes that plagiarism is not acceptable and therefore establishes the following policy stating specific actions (penalties) upon identification of plagiarism/similarities in articles submitted for publication in JAPRA. JAPRA will use Turnitin's originality checking software as the tool in detecting similarities of texts in article manuscripts and the final version articles ready for publication. A maximum of 25% of similarities is allowed for the submitted papers. Should we find more than 25% of the similarity index, the article will be returned to the author for correction and resubmission.
