Likuid: Jurnal Ekonomi Industri Halal (e-ISSN: 2797-5967) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal established in 2021 and published by the Sharia Economics Study Program, Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, in collaboration with the Indonesian Halal Product Producers Association (Asosiasi Produsen Produk Halal Indonesia—APPHI). The journal has been accredited at SINTA 4 since its initial publication in 2021, reflecting its commitment to advancing scholarly research and disseminating knowledge in the halal industry and related fields.
Since its establishment, Likuid has continued to develop its academic orientation and publication practices in response to the growing importance of the halal economy at the local, national, and global levels. The journal initially published articles in Indonesian, subsequently adopted both Indonesian and English, and has published all articles in English since Volume 4, Number 2 (2024). This transition reflects the journal's commitment to expanding its international readership, encouraging cross-border academic collaboration, and increasing the global visibility of research on the halal industry and Islamic economics.
Likuid: Jurnal Ekonomi Industri Halal focuses on the development of the halal industry and its interconnections with Islamic economics, Islamic finance, and sustainable economic development. Its core scope encompasses four principal areas: (1) halal industry and business development; (2) halal tourism and halal-related sectors, including food, fashion, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals; (3) halal supply chains and value chains; and (4) halal certification, regulation, and governance.
