Penguatan Pemahaman konsep IPA di Sekolah Indonesia Riyadh melalui Pendekatan Proyek untuk Siswa SMA

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperkuat pemahaman siswa SMA di Sekolah Indonesia Riyadh terhadap konsep-konsep Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPA) dan Fisika melalui pendekatan berbasis proyek dan praktikum. Kurikulum Merdeka yang diterapkan menekankan pada pembelajaran interaktif, dengan siswa diharapkan memperoleh pengalaman langsung melalui eksperimen dan praktik. Materi yang diajarkan meliputi Energi Terbarukan, Gerak Lurus, dan Rangkaian Kapasitor, yang diterapkan melalui metode proyek seperti pembuatan infografis dan praktikum analisis gerak menggunakan software Tracker serta simulasi rangkaian kapasitor dengan Tinkercad. Hasil dari pendekatan ini menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan pemahaman konseptual siswa terhadap materi. Program ini merekomendasikan kegiatan pembelajaran berbasis konsep dan praktik kepada siswa agar menghasilkan suatu produk penelitian sederhana. Abstract This research aims to strengthen high school students' understanding of the Riyadh Indonesian School regarding the concepts of Natural Sciences (IPA) and Physics through a project and practicum-based approach. The Merdeka curriculum implemented emphasizes interactive learning, with students expected to gain direct experience through experimentation and practice. The material taught includes Renewable Energy, Rectilinear Motion, and Capacitor Circuits, which are applied through project methods such as making infographics and motion analysis practicum using Tracker software and simulating capacitor circuits with Tinkercad. The results of this approach show an increase in students' critical thinking skills and conceptual understanding of the material. This program recommends concept and practice-based learning activities for students to produce simple research products.References
