Abstract

Penerjemahan literatur kesusastraan, puisi misalnya, mempunyai ciri distingtif tersendiri. Puisi Arab klasik mempunyai struktur khas serta klasifikasi khusus atas korpusnya yang mendasarkan pada kesamaaan rima akhir bait. Makna puisi terkandung dalam satu bait atau lebih. Struktur puisinya diikat oleh aturan sintaksis yang ketat, sehingga analisis siktaktik mendasar diperlukan sebagai patronasi pemaknaan puisi. Penelitian ini menerapkan teori terjemah dengan analisis sintaksis terhadap bait puisi. Tujuan penelitian ini: 1). Mendeskripsikan teknik penerjemahan yang digunakan dalam terjemahan puisi Imam Asy Syafi’i oleh As’ad Syamsul Arifin. 2). Mendeskripsikan metode penerjemahan yang digunakan dalam terjemahan puisi Imam Asy Syafi’i oleh As’ad Syamsul Arifin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif; berlandaskan pendekatan ilmu penerjemahan dengan menerapkan teori teknik penerjemahan Syihabuddin dan teori metode penerjemahan Peter Newmark. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerjemah menggunakan 8 teknik dalam menerjemahkan puisi Imam Asy Syafi’i yaitu: Reduksi mencakup 3 pola. Eksplanasi mencakup 2 pola. Substitusi mencakup 14 pola. Transmutasi mencakup 4 pola. Ekspansi mencakup 10 pola. Transfer mencakup 11 pola Korespondensi mencakup 3 pola. Deskripsi mencakup 4 pola. Penerjemah juga menggunakan dua teknik sekaligus untuk menerjemahkan satu data yaitu: Transmutasi-Ekspansi mencakup 4 pola. Eksplanasi-Substitusi mencakup 1 pola. Metode penerjemahan yang digunakan penerjemah dalam menerjemah antologi puisi Imam Syafi’I mencakup tiga metode yaitu semantis, setia dan harfiyah.
