Focus & Scope

Journal of Islamic Economics and Business (JIEB) publishes high-quality theoretical, empirical, and interdisciplinary research that advances knowledge in Islamic economics, finance, and business within contemporary and global economic contexts.

The journal provides a scholarly platform for examining how Islamic economic principles, institutions, markets, and business practices interact with emerging economic transformations, including digitalization, sustainability, technological change, globalization, and inclusive development.

JIEB welcomes research from diverse geographical and institutional contexts and particularly encourages comparative, cross-country, and interdisciplinary studies that offer strong theoretical or empirical contributions and meaningful implications for policy, industry, and society.
