Journal History
ISEMA: Islamic Educational Management was established to provide a dedicated academic platform for lecturers, researchers, and educational managers to disseminate their research findings. The journal officially published its inaugural issue in 2016 (Volume 1, Number 1). Since its inception, ISEMA has consistently maintained its publication frequency, releasing 2 (two) issues per year.

Initial Publication (2016): The journal's first publication was released in 2016 under the management of the Laboratory of Bachelor Program in Islamic Educational Management, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, Indonesia.

ISSN Registration: To ensure global standard identification for its serial publication, ISEMA successfully registered for both print and online versions with p-ISSN: 2541-383X and e-ISSN: 2541-7088.

Strategic Partnership (2019): To expand its academic network and enhance the quality of its publications, ISEMA formed a strategic collaboration with Perkumpulan Manajer Pendidikan Islam Indonesia (PERMA PENDIS) or The Association of Islamic Education Managers. This partnership was officially formalized under MoU Number: 002/J-IsEMa/VI/2019.
ISEMA continues to grow as an open-access scientific journal, contributing significantly to the advancement of theoretical and practical knowledge in the governance, leadership, and management of Islamic educational institutions.
